James Taylor B.A Hons - Managing Partner

James heads up the team at Walgrove Executive Search. He specialises in projects sourcing senior lawyers, typically at equity partner or general counsel level, with particular experience working within the finance practices of his clients. With over eight years experience James works with a small portfolio of loyal clients that range from major international law firms, boutique firms and banks.

Prior to joining Walgrove James had managed his own niche legal search business for a number of years, building upon six years of experience at senior levels with the boutique Legal search firms Macildowie Bates and Braybrooke and Barrow. Before joining the executive search world James enjoyed a brief and eventful military career.

Ceri Whitfield, BA Hons

Ceri's role focuses on the delivery of exclusively retained assignments identifying and attracting successful and high potential candidates across a range of sectors - predominantly Consumer / Retail, Pharmaceutical and Financial Services - within the Professional Services community. Prior to Walgrove, Ceri was a Senior Associate within the Consumer and Retail team at Heidrick & Struggles, one of the world's largest and market leading Executive Search firms. Specifically, Ceri was a key member of the team that supported the Global Head of the Retail Practice, delivering assignments in Sales, Marketing and General Management functions for world class clients in the Retail and CPG space. These clients included Polo Ralph Lauren, Coca-Cola, Levi's, Wolford, Selfridges, Arnotts and Allied Domecq. Ceri has worked in a research capacity across most functions and industry sectors since 1998. During her career, she has held research roles with both boutique and large, global firms including Nicholson International and Korn Ferry International.

Tim Chamberlain, BA Hons

Tim has over 12 years experience in recruitment and senior level search having worked for a global recruitment firm and a management consultancy search boutique. He has a wealth of experience in management consultancy and professional services across Investment Management, Corporate & Investment Banking, Insurance & Retail (Cards & Payments). His network and contact extend across Financial Management, IT Advisory, Programme Management, Risk Management, Regulatory consulting & Enterprise Technology. Tim has been successful in appointing individuals at Partner, VP, Director and Senior Manager level in the Big 4, Financial Services & Technology Advisory firms.

Prior to Walgrove, Tim was a Senior Manager for a global technology recruitment firm where he was responsible for middle to senior level appointments on behalf of consulting clients in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France & Germany. Tim was also instrumental in the development of an international recruitment practice through his management of campaigns in Asia Pacific & Australasia.

Sarah Boulton, Research Associate

Sarah is a Research Associate at Walgrove Executive Search. Her role supports Consultants in the delivery of exclusively retained assignments via market mapping, sourcing, identifying and attracting successful candidates. In addition, Sarah works closely with James in order to source senior finance, HR, compliance and other support staff. Prior to working within the recruitment industry, where she dealt with both search and contingency recruitment for top UK and US law firms at Badenoch and Clark, Sarah worked as a Litigation Executive within the Casualty and Commercial Risk department of BLG LLP before moving to specialise in civil fraud at another London practice.

Gemma Sochovsky, BA Hons

Gemma Sochovsky is an Executive Search Consultant at Walgrove. She brings with her a total of 6 years experience in Recruitment. Gemma is tasked with building new client relationships and identifying fresh opportunities for Walgrove to pursue. Her role also includes managing Senior Client relationships and supporting delivery against retained mandates. Her previous role was as Client Relationship Manager for an Executive Search firm focusing on hiring key personnel within the areas of Sales and Marketing in the IT Services arena.

Lara Shatto-Sweeney, BA Hons

Lara's remit includes focusing on the identification and attraction of senior talent, providing market intelligence solutions and delivery on exclusive, retained assignments within Professional Services. Lara engages in business development activities to identify and assist the business with its growth objectives. She has over 10 years experience placing Senior Executives into Finance, Technology, Investment Banking and management consultancy disciplines; having successfully worked on mandates within the USA, UK, Europe, Asia and India. Lara has specialist experience working on multi-vacancy campaigns. Educated in the USA and England, Lara's early career was spent within Private Banking.

Sarah Humphreys, BSc Hons

Sarah is a Research Consultant at Walgrove Executive Search. Her role supports Consultants in the delivery of exclusively retained assignments via market mapping, sourcing, identifying and attracting successful candidates. Prior to Walgrove, Sarah was a Recruitment Consultant at Woodhurst, specialising in Strategy Consulting and Financial Services. Sarah graduated from Aston University with a degree in Biology & Psychology.

Sarah Dunderdale, BSc Hons

Sarah is a Research Consultant at Walgrove Executive Search. Her role supports Consultants in the delivery of exclusively retained assignments via market mapping, sourcing and identifying successful candidates. Prior to Walgrove, Sarah was an International Sales Executive at IMC Vision. Sarah graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in Zoology.

Nicola Easthorpe

Nicola is the Office Manager and Team PA at Walgrove Executive Search. Her role provides essential support to all members of the team. This includes all aspects of the day to day running of the business and office in general. Prior to joining the team at Walgrove Nicola was a PA and Management Support within a specialist recruitment consultancy.

Chloe Herzberg, BSc Hons

Chloe has worked in research and delivery roles across most functions and industry sectors for the past eight years. In this time, she has worked with both boutique and large global organisations. She has gained client side experience as head of UK recruitment for a business division of Rentokil plc and worked onsite for a global IT management consultancy on a number of high profile senior roles across Europe.

Prior to joining Walgrove, Chloe worked in the Legal and Professional Services practice for Norman Broadbent, working on senior level search and board positions for international Law firms and big 4 professional services firms.
