Our client was a financial services focussed outsourcing and consulting Plc organisation. Our brief was to complete 2 critical hires for the business - New Business Sales Director and Major Account Director in order to make a step change in the level of consulting capability available to client boards and increase the footprint with blue chip clients in insurance and retail banking.

One of the challenges that we faced was that our client, whilst well known and reputable in the outsourcing market was not a known contender in consulting. There was also a significant time pressure due to a previously unsuccessful recruitment campaign conducted via another firm. Furthermore, once again the competition was fierce in a recovering financial services market which meant that high quality talent was sought after and scarce.

Two strong short lists were presented and successful appointments made, with both individuals coming from a top tier blue chip management consultancy.
